Accepting Applications for the Zonta International

“Women in Business Scholarship”

Zonta Club of Mid-Maryland is seeking applications for the Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship. Applications must be received by May 31, 2018. This is a Zonta International program funded through the Zonta International Foundation. The application process begins at the local Zonta club level. This scholarship was established in 1998 at the bequest of Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York. It is designed to award women pursuing degrees in business leading to a business management career. Women of any age, pursuing a business or business-related degree program at an accredited university/college/institution, including online students, in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a master’s program at the time the application is submitted, may apply. Award Levels

The Zonta Club of Mid-Maryland’s evaluation committee will consider applications submitted to the Club, and the winning application will be submitted to our district for consideration of a district level scholarship. Zonta International offers up to 32 scholarships of $2000 each at the district/region level and six international scholarships of $8000 each.

How to Apply

Complete the official application in English. Only typed applications will be accepted and considered. Application packages must include one recommendation from a faculty member in the field of study. In addition, the package must include one recommendation from an employer, volunteer supervisor, or academic advisor. See the application for more detail, click here.
